Recommended Cooking Styles & Combinations
- Soak in water for 1 hour before use, or soak in lukewarm water for minimum 20 minutes until soft
- Drain and remove the mushrooms from liquid, cut them into desired chunks, keep the soaking liquid for further use
- Saute the boletus with oil (like butter or olive oil), you can combine with pasta, risotto or stews, the soaking liquid is perfect for making sauce
- Can combine with other products in the ISTRA Truffle Collection, for example, any kind of Truffle Sauce, Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Truffle Slice, Sliced Black Truffles or Whole Black Truffles to enhance texture and rise the tastefulness
Storage
- Before opening, keep in cool place without direct sunlight
- After opening, keep in room temperature and in a cool dry place. As Hong Kong is humid, we suggest keeping it in air-tight containers or ziplock bags
